Well as I said before on my own DA Journal, the first event will be a FFXI-theme'd Secret Santa- Well Secret Smilebringers event in this case! Since I know there are a few contests and such going on now, I don't really want to really have a contest of any sort to start right away, and this would just be so much more fun, as the holidays are pretty much right around the corner, and such an event takes time to organize anyway *^^*

About Secret SmileBringers, and what to do!

As most of you know, A secret Santa is an event where you pick names out of a hat, and mix people up so they can give presents to someone, and nobody knows who except the person giving it until Christmas! As the tradition on DA is, for a secret Santa you create a art piece for your person.

Cool! How do I join in this event!?

If your a member of the club, or hell if you don't want to join in anyway but still love/play FFXI, Its the holidays and we wanna spread love! Just send a note titled "I BE BRING SMILES" or "Secret Smilebringer" 8D or you can just reply to this journal and say your joining in on the fun, but for the wishlist part (which I will explain next) You MUST send in a note!

Okay so my name gets put in a hat with others, and someone gets picked out for me? How the heck do I know what to draw for them?

How do we know who wants what to be drawn? Well, if your name is up here, please within the month of October through early November make a journal entry with information of you FFXI character. Please fill out the journal with a similar template if not this template:

Journal Title: Dear Secret Smilebringer!

For Christmas I'd like to see my character/s drawn!

[then provide information about your FFXI related art request. Include screenshots/Art references, if you have any personalized outfit mods, character mods and whatnot be sure to include that too! Don't forget to add information about your character's personality either, That always helps a lot for when people draw your characters~ :3 ]


Then please send a note to , Title'd "SS Journal" so we don't mix it up and link to your journal entry so we can add it next to your name so your secret SmileBringer knows what to draw!
